Privacy Policy

Information we handle

Google sign-in provides account information such as your name, email address, and profile image. EncoGoals stores the goals, categories, habits, task lists, tasks, plans, progress logs, focus sessions, notifications, and sharing settings you create.

We also store subscription status and billing identifiers needed to provide paid features. The app uses technical and error logs to operate and troubleshoot the service. Vercel Web Analytics is included for aggregated website traffic measurement.

How we use information

We use account information to sign you in, keep your workspace private, and communicate in the app. Your productivity records power your plans, history, charts, progress summaries, and focus features. Subscription records determine feature access and support billing.

Service providers and connected accounts

Google handles sign-in. Dodo Payments handles checkout and subscription payments; EncoGoals stores payment and subscription references, not full card numbers or card security codes. If you choose to connect X, the app stores encrypted authorization tokens and the settings needed to create or publish progress posts. You can disconnect X in settings.

Vercel Web Analytics processes aggregate site-usage data. These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy notices.

Cookies and browser storage

Authentication uses session technologies to keep you signed in. The browser stores an in-progress focus timer locally, temporary sharing-settings drafts in session storage, and isolated demo data in session storage. Demo reminder preferences may use local storage. Clearing browser storage can remove unsaved local state.

Sharing choices

Progress sharing is optional. If you connect X and enable publishing, selected progress information may be sent to X according to your sharing settings. Review your included categories and metrics before sharing; published posts are subject to X’s policies.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and productivity data while it is needed for your account and the features you use. Deleting an item can change related totals and history. To request account deletion or help clearing your data, email encodedfeat@gmail.com. The current data-clearing function removes many user-owned records and the user record from the active application database; it may not remove every related subscription or notification record. Contact us for help with any remaining account-linked records.

If you download an EncoGoals workspace backup, the file is saved by your browser to your device. The backup feature does not keep a separate recovery copy on our servers. The file is signed to detect changes, but is not encrypted or password-protected; keep it somewhere private. A valid backup can restore workspace records only to the same EncoGoals account.

Payment processors, infrastructure providers, and other third parties may independently retain limited records for payment processing, fraud prevention, tax, security, or legal obligations. Backup retention and deletion timing have not been verified; we do not promise immediate deletion from backups.

Security

Account data is scoped to the authenticated user in application requests. Sensitive integration tokens are encrypted before storage. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please report suspected account or security problems to encodedfeat@gmail.com.

Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete many records in the app, disconnect X, and change sharing choices. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, email encodedfeat@gmail.com. Additional rights may apply under applicable law.

Age eligibility

EncoGoals is intended for people aged 12 or older. Children under 12 are not permitted to create an account. EncoGoals does not currently offer child accounts or a parental-consent system. X has its own age rules: you must meet X’s minimum age and any applicable parental-consent requirements before connecting an X account.

Changes and contact

For material changes, we aim to give at least 7 days’ notice before the new policy takes effect where reasonably possible, using your account email and/or a prominent in-app notice. Minor corrections or urgent security or legal changes may take effect sooner. The dates above show when this policy was updated and became effective.
