Payment & Subscription Policy

How EncoGoals plans, renewal, cancellation, and billing issues work.

Effective date: September 25, 2026Last updated: September 25, 2026

Free, Pro, and Max

Free has no subscription charge. Pro and Max are paid plans with the current features and limits shown on the Pricing page and at checkout. Monthly and yearly billing options are supported where offered at checkout.

Charges, billing cycle, and renewal

Dodo Payments handles checkout and recurring subscription payments. The checkout shows the plan, currency, billing interval, and amount before you pay. A recurring subscription may renew for the selected billing interval until it is cancelled. Review your checkout and provider receipt for the exact charge and renewal date.

EncoGoals intends the displayed subscription price to include GST or other applicable tax: you should pay the price shown. The final amount depends on the payment product settings and is shown at checkout. If it differs from the advertised price, do not complete payment and contact encodedfeat@gmail.com.

Upgrades, downgrades, and price changes

For a new paid subscription, features become available after checkout and billing confirmation. If you already have an active paid subscription, EncoGoals changes that same subscription rather than starting another checkout. A paid plan change is requested immediately, and access updates when Dodo confirms the change. Changing to Free immediately cancels the existing paid subscription and ends paid access; it does not delete your stored history.

Before a paid plan change, EncoGoals shows Dodo’s previewed immediate charge. Upgrades use Dodo’s immediate prorated billing mode, so the actual charge depends on the remaining billing period. Downgrades to a lower paid plan use Dodo’s no-adjustment mode: no prorated refund or credit is issued for unused time. Changing to Free also does not provide a refund or credit for unused paid time, subject to applicable law. Review and confirm the provider’s quoted amount before changing plans.

Affected users must receive at least 7 days’ notice before a price change to an existing recurring subscription takes effect, by account email and/or a prominent in-app notice. We will ask for acceptance where the payment system or law requires it; using the Free plan is not consent to a higher recurring charge. Advertised prices for new subscriptions may change immediately.

Cancellation and access

Use the billing customer portal from your account to manage or cancel an eligible paid subscription. A cancelled subscription can keep paid access until its recorded paid-through date. When paid access ends, the account uses Free-plan limits; existing historical data is not deleted solely because of a downgrade or expiry.

Failed payments

A failed or overdue payment may change the subscription to a past-due, paused, or expired state. Access follows the current subscription state recorded by the billing system. Check the customer portal to update payment details or resolve a failed charge.

Refunds and incorrect charges

A successfully processed payment for a correctly activated plan is generally non-refundable, subject to applicable law. We investigate payments where the paid plan was not activated, a charge was duplicated or incorrect, the transaction was recorded incorrectly, or a technical failure prevented delivery. If a verified duplicate or incorrect charge or undelivered paid service cannot be corrected, we will provide an appropriate full refund. No fixed request deadline is imposed by this policy.

For billing help, email encodedfeat@gmail.com with your account email, charge date, amount, and provider receipt reference. Never send full card numbers, one-time codes, or security codes.

Changes to this policy

For material changes, we aim to give at least 7 days’ notice before they take effect where reasonably possible, using your account email and/or a prominent in-app notice. Billing and recurring-price changes receive especially clear notice. Minor corrections and urgent security or legal changes may take effect sooner; the updated date above will still change.
